Units kick up dust in 10k cross-country at Katterbach Kaserne

ANSBACH, Germany (Oct. 20, 2016) – Of six unit teams that competed in the 10-kilometer cross-country run Saturday at Katterbach Kaserne, one of the two Ansbach Army Health Clinic teams prevailed.

Spc. Khalil McClain, who ran with B Company, 1st Battalion, 214th Aviation Regiment (General Support / VIP Fixed Wing), completed the run with the fastest time: 40 minutes, 8 seconds.

Command Sgt. Maj. Derek R. Cuvellier, representing the U.S. Army Garrison command team, presented the trophies to the winners.

Two teams from the clinic participated as well as B Co., 1st Bn., 214th AR; E Co., 1st Bn., 3rd AR (Attack Reconnaissance); USAG Ansbach Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment; and a community spouse team.

The Family Advocacy Program of the Army Community Service provided water to runners.
