Kenneth Aungst has spent the last 60 years in the Illesheim area of USAG Ansbach. He first came to Illesheim in 1955 straight out of basic training. Today, Aungst is the community model for a person who stays young by staying active and dedicated through his engagement with the American Legion Post 1982.

Premiere: USAG Ansbach participates in job fair “All paths to your new career”

U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach participated at the Jobmesse Nürnberg for the first time Sept. 22 to actively promote its numerous job opportunities for local national employees. The Jobmesse Nürnberg is a professional job fair, largely advertised and attended throughout the region and attracts job seekers and graduating students looking for employment in a variety of career fields.

Local national jobs go StepStone

USAREUR-AF recently selected StepsStone in a pilot project to announce local national vacancies on a professional, easily accessible public portal. USAG Ansbach was able to advertise six DPW positions on StepStone.com for a technically skilled local national candidate pool.
