Sunset Paddling
Join Ansbach Outdoor Rec every Wednesday for a sunset paddle from the mouth of the Altmühlsee to Ornbau (approx. 1.5 hrs.). After paddling, stop for dinner at Biergarten on the bank of the river. The trip includes transportation, equipment and instruction, and departs Katterbach ODR at 5:30 p.m. (returns approx. 9:30 p.m., other pick-ups available upon request). 30-Day Squat Challenge

July 9 – Trip to Vienna, Austria
Visit the historical capital of Austria located along the Danube River. Vienna has many claims to fame, including the “City of Music” and the “City of Dreams.” Here, you can walk through Vienna Old Town, learn the history of Vienna at museums, or take in the Art Nouveau Architecture of the city.

July 11 – CYS Babysitter course
A CYS babysitter course is offered July 11, 13 and 15 from 1:30 to 6 p.m. at the Katterbach Youth Center. Sign up in advance by calling Parent Central Services at 09802-832533. Open to ages 13 and older.
July 12 & 26 – Daddy Matters
This bi-weekly parenting support group is for fathers with children ages 0-3 years old. Whether you are a new parent, expecting, or have multiple children, this group focuses on the importance of your role as a Father in your child’s life. Contact ACS at 09802-83-2883 (DSN 467-2883) to participate.

July 16 & 30 – Paintball with ODR

July 23 – Salzburg City & Climbing
Combine adventure and leisure in the beautiful Salzburg region in one trip July 23 & 24. Climb a Klettersteig with a guide on Saturday, and explore the city on Sunday. Trip includes transportation, one night stay in a hotel, climbing equipment and guides.

July 26 – USAG Ansbach Rocks! CYS meet and greet in the park
Learn about programs and services for families and paint some rocks for our rock garden July 26 at 11 a.m.at Katterbach Rocket Park playground.
Handball Club & Training
Learn how to play Handball! Handball, a classic European sport, is now offered at the Katterbach Fitness Center every Wednesday from 7-8 p.m. Contact the KFC to find out more!
The handball club wants to introduce this as a new sport to the Ansbach community, to be played during the winter season.
