ANSBACH, Germany (Sept. 1, 2015) – Nearly 250 community members attended U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach’s annual community showcase at the Katterbach Fitness Center Saturday.

The event started with a “Back-to-School” fun run and five-kilometer run followed by other entertaining activities.

The garrison hosts this annual event in effort to showcase the various activities and services that the garrison has to offer.

Private organizations, including the local spouses’ and civilians’ club and the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, were on hand. Other services such as the Veterinarian Treatment Facility and health clinics, religious services, self-help stores, the Environmental Division and the Housing Office had displays and information for community members.
