Commissary CLICK2GO, the Defense Commissary Agency’s new online ordering/curbside delivery service, is coming to the Ansbach Commissary this fall, according to the store manager.
Moving to Germany this summer? Make sure you have your Special Issuance Passport in hand, or a memo stating you’ve applied for one. (Update: edited to change “official passport” to “Special Issuance Passport” to mirror the FCG language).
Ansbach military community members now have an additional, voluntary means of proving vaccination status with the free ‘CovPass’ or ‘Corona Warn’ apps published by the Robert Koch Institute, Germany’s equivalent to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The Ansbach Vehicle Registration office has added another registrar and doubled their capacity. Limited walk-in services are now offered Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Once a month a pick-up of bulk trash takes place in all USAG Ansbach housing areas. Housing residents can place their bulky items in the grassy area near the road by their building on the evening prior to the scheduled day, as pick-up can be as early as 7 a.m. It is important that no bulk items are placed anywhere outside that assigned time frame!
Extensive renovations will begin Nov. 16 at the Katterbach chapel. This means that all religious services and programs will have to move to a building 5805 temporarily.
