Hopefully you had the opportunity to cast your vote during this year’s Primary election season. For those who missed out and want to make sure your vote is counted in the general election, you can register now and receive your absentee ballot by mail in time for the general election in November. Keep in mind every state has different registration cut-off dates. To find more information on the specifics for your state, refer to www.fvap.gov. Once there, look under “Voters Start Here” and click on your state.
If you need assistance please come to Room 106 at the Welcome Center. A copy of the SF 76 “Federal Post Card Application” is available by clicking HERE. You can use form to request your absentee ballot. However, the preferred method is to use the Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) Online Assistant, which produces all the information onto the form for you and verifies your address.
