Self Help Closure

The Self Help store will be closed from June 15 – 20. They will reopen on 21 June.


LRC Ansbach Closure

LRC Ansbach services will closed for a quarterly internal town hall, June 24 from 1330 to 1630. Services affected are Drivers Testing/Drivers Licenses, PPPO, TMP, Shuttle Services, IPBO, CIF and the Headquarters.


No walk-in to Vehicle Registration

Due to staffing Vehicle Registation cannot accept walk-ins  June 16 and June 21.


Masks required in Ansbach Army Health Clinic

Ansbach Health Clinic in Urlas has been experiencing an influx of Soldiers, Civilians, and Family members coming into the clinic without a mask. The mask mandate is not a clinic policy, but a DHA policy as well as German ordinance. Always bring a mask with you when visiting the clinic. This will not only protect everyone, but will also lower the clinic’s costs of supply purchases.


Cub Scout Information Meeting

There will be an information meeting via Zoom for families interested in Cub Scouts in the Fall.  Cub Scouts is for youth (both boys and girls) from Kindergarten through 5th Grade starting in Fall 2022. The meeting will be June 22 at 7PM (1900) Central European Time with Mr. Rodney Henk, Senior District Executive for Boy Scouts in Bavaria.  He will discuss that is needed to establish a charter and will be available to answer questions.  It is open to anyone interested in joining Cub Scouts or who may have questions.  To join the meeting click on the link below or cut and paste the URL into your browser.

DAI Event – Putin’s War

The German-American Institute is holding an event on June 30, at 6 pm with Lieutenant General Ben Hodges, Former Allied Land Command of the United States Army Europe invites you to a discussion on the topic of: “Putin’s War: Options for NATO and the transatlantic Alliance”. The war against Ukraine has reached the stage of a war of attrition. What are the options for the alliance and Germany and the United States in particular? Aside from economic sanctions and embargoes, what are the military capabilities and strategies after more than four months of fighting to contain Putin’s imperialist efforts in Ukraine and move beyond a stalemate situation? DUI Awareness

You can receive a DUI in Germany for operating a vehicle, a bicycle, a scooter, a motorcycle, a scooter or anything else that has wheels under the influence of Alcohol and/or Drugs. If your blood alcohol is .05 or higher you are considered under the influence.


Katterbach Kaserne Construction Traffic Impacts

Road Closure – Between the traffic circle and the archway between ACS and MPD will be closed starting 7 Jun for approximately three months.


Barrier Maintenance on Bismarck and Urlas/Shipton

The Bismarck Kaserne entry lane will be closed for approximately on 20 June for 3 hours starting at 0800. The exit lane will be temporarily used as entrance and exit for the        Kaserne. There will be personnel directing traffic. The Urlas Exit barrier will be closed temporarily for approximately 2 hours starting at 0900 n 21 June. Lane 1 of the Shipton/Urlas ACP will be temporarily used as the exit lane for the Kaserne. Cones will be placed to designate the lanes. There will be personnel directing traffic between the ACP, Shipton and Urlas.
