Do not pour any chemicals/grease/oil etc.. down any of our drains or storm drains. The oil water separators are not made for this and it will need to be cleaned out before it can do its job again. The only thing that should go down storm drains is water. Our storm drains flow to caught basins that flows directly into two creeks around base. If oil/hydraulic fluid/concentrated cleaners/detergents go into the creek it is very harmful to the environment and can kill any aquatic life that lives in the creeks. Any extra chemicals/grease/oil etc. can be turned into the recycling center or our hazardous waste site which is next to the recycling center. Please do the right thing and help the Garrison be good stewards of the environment
