Summer Hire Program

The Civilian Human Resources Agency Europe Region are now accepting applications for the Army in Europe Youth Summer Hire Program. The Summer Hire Program is an excellent opportunity to positively influence the youth in our community.  The program fosters good work ethics through experience and promoting responsibility in preparation for future education and career goals. The program will provide jobs in general clerical and light laborer positions to U.S. family member dependents ages 14-22. The six week program will run from June 21 through July 29 throughout Europe.  Because this program is temporary in nature and designed to provide eligible overseas family member youths an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience, it is highly desired that applicants be available to work the entire six weeks. The job announcements will be open from March 23 to April 24. Direct links to the announcements are below. Wear jeans with a purpose, support survivors, and educate yourself and others about sexual assault. We wear denim as a symbolic gesture – an Italian court overturned a rape conviction due to the High Court believing the victim had consented to sexual contact since, in their opinion, her jeans were so tight the perpetrator could not have gotten them off without her assistance. ADPAAS Updates

The Army Disaster Personnel Accountability and Assessment System (ADPAAS) is about to begin its 2022 Hurricane and Wildfire Season on 1 June. With

the number of natural disasters that have occurred in the United States in the last few years, accountability for our Army personnel, Military, Civilian, or Contractor, and their family members is extremely important. When an event starts, any sponsor or family member that are listed in ADPAAS as having a home/living in an affected area will be required to account for themselves to the command under which they are assigned in ADPAAS. That is why it is extremely important to ensure the information that is listed in ADPAAS is as accurate as possible.  Lessons learned from the 2021 Hurricane and Wildfire season highlight a need for accurate and timely disaster personnel accountability. The Army’s goal is to reach 100% disaster personnel accountability via ADPAAS within 72 hours from the start of an ADPASS Event. With that in mind; please log onto the ADPAAS website at HTTPS://ADPAAS.ARMY.MIL and ensure all information under the My Info tab is accurate and complete. Please do the same for each one of your family members as well listed in ADPAAS. You can also go to ID Card Office Online at https://idco-pki.dmdc.osd.mil/idco/ and update your information under My Profile. This information feeds directly into ADPAAS and can be updated that way as well. All Family members listed in DEERS will display in ADPAAS so if you have a Family member that is not showing up in ADPAAS, please check with your DEERS office to update your profile. For any questions or concerns please contact your Command Officer Representative for your UIC. If you do not know who that is, you can find their information in ADPAAS under My Info, COR List.
