Child, Youth and School Services has programs this summer for your children whether they are in the kindergarten through 5th grade age or they are of middle and high school age. Both camps begin June 19.

Terrace Playhouse takes home six Toppers for One Man, Two Guvnors, Lion King Kids

This year’s Toppers Awards, a gala ceremony that celebrates Army Europe community theater during the 2017 season, were held at U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden Saturday, and USAG Ansbach’s own Terrace Playhouse was among the winners this year. The playhouse gained six wins out of 28 nominations for its productions of the comedy One Man, Two Guvnors (12 nominations, three wins) and the family musical The Lion King Kids (16 nominations, three wins).

U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach is scheduled to host the Total Army Sponsorship Program rodeo from 9 a.m. to noon April 26 from at the Katterbach Fitness Center to train Soldier and civilian sponsors on the best way to familiarize and settle newly arrived community members.

US Army, German police pull ‘body’ from Soldiers Lake during exercise

U.S. Army investigative and emergency personnel and local German police personnel worked together on a combined functional exercise at Soldiers Lake here Monday. As part of an exercise, a vehicle with a dummy body was found in Soldiers Lake near the entrance to Urlas Community and Shipton Kaserne.
